The advantages of the present invention shown in Fig. 28 include, without limitation, the ability to adjust the dimensions of the powered ram 810 to be compatible with compaction chambers that can also alter their interior dimensions.

In broad embodiment, the invention Fig. 28 is a metal powered ram of any shape or size which may extend any or all of its top and/or bottom and/or sides.

Referring now to the invention in more detail, in Fig. 1B and Fig. 7 and Fig. 28 there is shown one embodiment of the current invention comprising; a hydraulic pump 200, a hydraulic control 202, a movable cylinder 204, a movable top 206, a movable cylinder 208, a movable resistance block 210, a three sided compression chamber 212, a movable cylinder 216, a set of springs 213 of height 211, a powered ram 214, an adjustable height powered ram 814, a downward force 16, and an upward force 24.

In more detail, still referring to the invention of Fig. 1B and Fig. 7, in operation the set of springs 213 is loaded into the three sided compression chamber 212. Then hydraulic pump 200 activates via hydraulic control 202 equal pressure on movable cylinder 204 lowering top 206 downward engaging the set of springs 213 such that the set of springs is compressed via the downward force 16 applied by the movable top 206 and the upward force 24 applied by the bottom of the three sided compression chamber 212. This action creates a four sided compression chamber comprising the movable top 206 and the three sided compression chamber 212. Then hydraulic pump 200 activates the movable cylinder 208 moving the movable resistance block 210 across the end of the three sided compression chamber 212 and the movable top 206 hereafter referred to as the four sided compression chamber. Then hydraulic pump 200 activates movable cylinder 216 moving powered ram 214 forward into the four sided compression chamber and compresses the set of springs 213 beyond their bending point against the movable resistance block 210. Then hydraulic pump 200 activates movable cylinder 216 moving powered ram 214 backward in the four sided compression chamber thus relieving the pressure on now compressed set of springs 213. Then hydraulic pump 200 activates the movable cylinder 208 moving the movable resistance block 210 clear of the end of the four sided compression chamber.. Then hydraulic pump 200 activates movable cylinder 216 moving powered ram 214 forward in the four sided compression chamber and pushes the now compressed set of springs 213 out the end of the four sided compression chamber. Then hydraulic pump 200 activates movable cylinder 216 moving powered ram 214 backward through the four sided compression chamber to its original position as shown. Then hydraulic pump 200 activates via hydraulic control 202 equal pressure on movable cylinder 204 raising top 206 back up to its original position as shown.

In further detail, still referring to the invention of Fig. 1A, Fig. 1B and Fig. 7, the interior dimensions of the three sided compression chamber 212 may be slightly larger than the exterior dimensions of the set of springs 213 in order to enable loading the set of springs 213 into the three sided compression chamber 212.
